KonKon's word (私の言葉)

I am very lucky to be able to do what I love for a living and setting up KonKon Workshop was really a dream come true. I thrive on teaching such a variety of courses on Art, Language & Music to different age groups from different countries and being able to pursue my own personal creative career as well.

I never feel a dull moment as I am continually amazed to see the inspiring things my lively students create in Art Class, it's impossible to predict what wonderful things are going to come out of each class.

I am so glad to see my students make themselves master of a foreign language gradually in Language Courses and love to see small kids fully indulge themselves in Music Play Group.

春分時節掃墓 - （日本語：彼岸）

今日去將軍奧華人墳場拜山, 拜我阿爺...



下午同我嘅日本人學生(坂下）上堂講今朝拜山掃墓,原來日本人都有lee樣嘢, 佢地叫lee個節日時段做"彼岸"(higan),即舊曆"春分"前3日,後3日共1個星期內去拜山掃墓, "墓参り"(hakamairi)=掃墓, 佢地唔會燒衣紙,但會點香,即係"線香" (senkou), 亦會帶鮮花,"お花" (Ohana)...
